The Abyss
I
stand at the edge of the abyss
And
I dismiss
Waiting
for the wind to carry me
To
my final fall from grace
Let
me fall flat on my face
So
my enemies can get a taste
Of
my soul bleeding
As
a result of the life I’m leading
Or
is it myself that I’m deceiving?
Forgive
me; I’m but a human being
With
flaws and faults abound
And
although my true self is found
The
only sound
My
friends emit
Is
silence; can you hear it?
The
dead whispering, calling my name
Life
is like the game
That
plays you with cruel intentions
And
takes you to new dimensions
Of
pain and suffering
That
only life is constantly delivering
So
I guess I’m sickeningly sadistic
To
stick with it
